One-click checkout for Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Bolt adds one-click checkout to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) with Bolt-provided cartridges. On a standard SFRA storefront, Bolt's hosted checkout replaces the native checkout. Headless PWA Kit storefronts add a React BoltCheckout component. With Embeddable Checkout, you keep your own checkout and add Bolt account login and payment methods. Bolt uses SFCC's Open Commerce API to show its button on cart, minicart and product pages.

Why Salesforce Commerce Cloud brands choose Bolt
Bolt-provided cartridges add one-click checkout to SFRA and headless PWA Kit storefronts, or add Bolt login and payments to the checkout you already have.
Who Bolt for Salesforce Commerce Cloud is for
SFRA storefronts that want Bolt's hosted checkout to replace the native SFRA checkout.
Headless PWA Kit (Composable Storefront) teams: Bolt extends the SFRA V2 plugin with a React BoltCheckout component.
Teams that want to keep their own checkout and add Bolt account SSO, one-click login and payment methods with Embeddable Checkout (SFRA v6.0 or later).
Set up Bolt in six steps
1. Choose your integration: SFRA V2 (hosted checkout), Composable Storefront (PWA Kit) or Embeddable Checkout.
2. Get access ready. You need Bolt API credentials from the Merchant Dashboard, OCAPI access, Account Manager access for dev@boltapp.com, and System Object Extension turned on.
3. Upload and activate the cartridge. Upload bolt-demandware-managed to your SFCC digital server, then add int_bolt_sfra:int_bolt_core in front of each site's base cartridge path.
4. Authorize Bolt and configure OCAPI. Share your API client credentials with Bolt, paste Bolt's OCAPIshop.json and OCAPIdata.json, and turn off OCAPI 404 response caching of dynamic content.
5. Import metadata and set preferences. Import Bolt-meta-import, then set the Bolt Payment Setting site preferences: keys and environment.
6. Add the button, test, go live. Wire the Bolt button into cart.isml and confirm sandbox checkout opens. Then switch to production keys and allow OCAPI methods through your CDN.
